Our guides help people choose and use compression socks. Because the topic touches health, we hold them to a clear standard.
Who writes and reviews
Guides are written by the ZipperSocks team and reviewed by Joe Danforth, our Customer Care Lead, who handles customer questions every day. We are not doctors. Our guides explain general information and always point you to your doctor for decisions about your health.
Sources
Medical and numeric facts come from authoritative sources such as the National Institutes of Health (MedlinePlus), the CDC, the NHS, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, the American Diabetes Association, Cochrane reviews and peer-reviewed studies. Each guide lists its sources at the bottom. We don't cite other sellers' marketing.
Product claims
- We say our socks are made in an FDA-registered facility. That describes the factory's registration with the FDA; it does not mean the FDA has approved or cleared the socks.
- We only show certifications (such as ISO 13485 or OEKO-TEX) when our manufacturer holds them and we have the certificate on file.
- We don't claim our socks treat, cure or prevent any disease.
- Prices, savings and dates are real. We don't use fake countdown timers or fake stock counts.
- Reviews come from verified orders only. We never write, buy or filter reviews to show only good ones.
Comparisons
When we compare our socks with other brands, we use facts those brands publish, note the date we checked, and link to the source. If a fact changes, tell us and we'll update it.
Updates and corrections
Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed. We re-check guides at least once a year and whenever guidance changes. If you spot a mistake, email contact@zippersocks.com and we'll correct it and update the date.
