On in four easy steps, sitting down
A regular compression sock has to be stretched over your heel. A zipper sock opens up, so the hard part disappears.
-
Unzip it all the way
Open the zipper from the cuff down to the ankle so the sock lies open like a sleeve.
-
Slide your foot in
Sit down, point your toes into the foot and settle your heel into the heel pocket. No pulling over the heel.
-
Zip from ankle to knee
Hold the fabric flat with one hand and zip up with the other. The soft guard keeps the teeth off your skin.
-
Smooth and go
Smooth out any wrinkles and check the cuff sits just below the knee. Taking them off is the same in reverse.
Made for people who dread putting compression socks on
If your hands are stiff, your back doesn't like bending, or your ankles swell by the afternoon, a regular compression sock can feel like a workout. A zipper turns it into a quick job you can do sitting on the edge of the bed.
Can I wear these if I have diabetes?
Many people with diabetes wear light compression for tired, swollen legs, and a zipper means less tugging over the heel and toes. The soft guard keeps the zipper off your skin.
Check with your doctor first. Compression socks are not for people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) or poor circulation in the legs. If you have numbness in your feet, check your skin each evening for red marks or sore spots.

I have trouble gripping regular compression socks, so the zipper makes a big difference. It still takes a little patience, but getting dressed feels much more manageable.

Bought these for my mother, who struggles to pull on her usual socks. She likes being able to unzip them when it's time to take them off.

I wanted something simple for everyday wear. These fit under my trousers, work with my usual shoes, and have become part of my daily routine.

Questions about zipper compression socks
Are zipper compression socks easier to put on?
Yes, for most people. You unzip the sock fully, slide your foot in while seated, and zip up from the ankle, so you never have to force a tight tube over your heel. People with stiff hands can loop a finger through the pull or use a long-reach zipper pull.
Will the zipper rub or pinch my leg?
A soft fabric guard runs along the inside of the zipper, so the teeth sit on fabric, not on your skin. Zip slowly with your other hand holding the fabric flat, the same way you would zip a jacket.
How do I pick my size?
Measure around the widest part of your calf, ideally in the morning before any swelling. Sizes by calf: M 8-11 in, L 11-13 in, XL 13-16 in, 2XL 16-18 in, 3XL 18-20 in. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
What does 15-20 mmHg mean?
15-20 mmHg is moderate graduated compression: the pressure is strongest at the ankle and eases toward the knee. It is the level most people start with for everyday wear, travel and long days on their feet.
Open toe or closed toe?
Closed toe covers the whole foot and is warmer under shoes. Open toe leaves the toes free, which many people find cooler and more comfortable with bunions, wide feet or sandals. The compression is the same.
Can people with diabetes wear them?
Many people with diabetes wear light compression socks, but only with their doctor's OK. Check with your doctor first. Compression socks are not for people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) or poor circulation in the legs.
How do I wash them?
Zip them closed, turn them inside out, put them in a mesh wash bag and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry. Skip the dryer, bleach and fabric softener so the stretch lasts longer.
How long until my order arrives?
Most orders arrive in 8 to 15 business days. You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
What is your guarantee?
Wear them, wash them, and if they are not right for you within 90 days of delivery, we refund you. We send a free US return label. No restocking fee, and bundles are covered too.
What is package protection?
It is an optional $2.95 add-on in the cart. If your package is stolen after delivery or arrives damaged, we reship it free with no claim forms. Lost-in-transit packages are always on us, with or without it.
Compression socks are not right for everyone. If you have peripheral arterial disease, poor circulation in the legs, heart failure, skin infections or open wounds, or reduced feeling in your feet, talk to your doctor before wearing them.
