On in three steps, sitting down
A regular compression sock has to be stretched over your heel. This one opens along the side, so that part disappears.
-
Unzip it all the way
Sit on the edge of the bed or a chair and open the zipper from the cuff to the ankle.
-
Slide your foot in
Point your toes into the foot and settle your heel. No stretching a tight sock over it.
-
Zip from ankle to knee
Hold the fabric flat and pull the zipper up. Taking them off is the same in reverse.
What you get in every pair
Graduated 15-20 mmHg
Firmest at the ankle and easing toward the knee: the level most people start with for everyday wear and travel.
A soft guard behind the zipper
A strip of knit fabric sits between the teeth and your skin, so you feel fabric, not metal.
Sized by your calf, M to 3XL
Five sizes for calves from 8 to 20 inches, measured at the widest point.
Open or closed toe, black or beige
Closed toe for warmth and shoes, open toe for warm days, wide feet or bunions.

★★★★★
I never thought I would get excited about socks, but here we are! At my age, pulling on regular compression socks was practically a workout. These zip right up, and the soft fabric behind the zipper keeps it from rubbing against my skin. The compression feels just right, supportive without being uncomfortable. What a difference!

I've been wearing compression socks for over ten years and have tried more brands than I can count. These are by far the easiest to get on. The little protective flap behind the zipper is such a smart detail. No pinching, no scratching, just comfortable support. I've been using my first pair regularly, and they're holding up beautifully.

My daughter suggested I try these because I was struggling with my old stockings. I'm so grateful she did! I can get dressed independently again, and that means more to me than you might imagine. The compression is firm but gentle, exactly the way I like it.

Comfortable from morning until bedtime. No zipper irritation thanks to the fabric lining, and the compression feels perfect. I'm ordering another pair.

★★★★★
What a wonderful invention! I used to dread putting on my compression stockings every morning. Now I simply wrap them around my legs and zip them closed.
The little strip of cloth behind the zipper keeps the metal away from my skin, which makes a big difference. They stay comfortable even after hours of wear. I've washed them many times, and they still fit as nicely as when I first received them.

Common questions
Are zipper compression socks easier to put on?
Yes, for most people. You unzip the sock fully, slide your foot in while seated, and zip up from the ankle, so you never have to force a tight tube over your heel. People with stiff hands can loop a finger through the pull or use a long-reach zipper pull.
Will the zipper rub or pinch my leg?
A soft fabric guard runs along the inside of the zipper, so the teeth sit on fabric, not on your skin. Zip slowly with your other hand holding the fabric flat, the same way you would zip a jacket.
How do I pick my size?
Measure around the widest part of your calf, ideally in the morning before any swelling. Sizes by calf: M 8-11 in, L 11-13 in, XL 13-16 in, 2XL 16-18 in, 3XL 18-20 in. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
What does 15-20 mmHg mean?
15-20 mmHg is moderate graduated compression: the pressure is strongest at the ankle and eases toward the knee. It is the level most people start with for everyday wear, travel and long days on their feet.
Open toe or closed toe?
Closed toe covers the whole foot and is warmer under shoes. Open toe leaves the toes free, which many people find cooler and more comfortable with bunions, wide feet or sandals. The compression is the same.
Can people with diabetes wear them?
Many people with diabetes wear light compression socks, but only with their doctor's OK. Check with your doctor first. Compression socks are not for people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) or poor circulation in the legs.
Wear them for 90 days. Still not right? Send them back.
